Mark Frankel is a journalist with a track record in delivering high quality, original content. He has a comprehensive range of experience in project management, team leadership and editorial strategy. Mark is currently Social Media Editor helping to shape and deliver a 24/7 breaking news operation for the BBC across its branded social media accounts.
Mark joined BBC in 1999 as a researcher for David Dimbleby, working on the pre-Budget report, and produced a number of TV and radio election, conference and budget programmes. Mark also worked on Radio 4 and BBC Newswire before moving to the UGC and Social News team as Assistant Editor in 2012. Mark won a number of awards including the 2015 Webby Award.
